
Mother's Day is a tribute to mothers and to the strength, wisdom and fortitude of women everywhere. The holiday was started by Anna Jarvis in 1908, and officially acknowledged as a holiday by the United States in 1914. Mother's Day usually falls on the second Sunday in May. Jarvis
